OUR RESCUE PARTNERS
BARC supports reputable dog and cat rescue groups in the greater Boston area. We’ll help with wherever you are most short-handed whether that’s fundraising, spreading awareness about your organization, or any other project that you need help with. We pull from the professional expertise of our membership base to help our rescue partners accomplish their goals and reach more animals in need. OUR STORY
Boston Animal Rescue Collaborative, or “BARC” as we like to call ourselves, is a 501(c)3 non-profit, all-volunteer organization founded by a small group of thoughtful, committed animal lovers with a vision to better our local rescue landscape. We’ve seen firsthand how hard rescue work can be and how shorthanded our favorite rescues are when it comes to fundraising and elevating awareness. That’s why we created BARC, an organization dedicated to empowering and supporting animal rescue organizations in an effort to help them reach their greatest potential.
Our goal is to foster collaboration across the community, celebrate the tireless commitment of our local animal welfare champions, and have some fun along the way. Just as rescues are heroes to the pets they save, we aspire to be heroes for the organizations that we support so that collectively we can make the greatest impact possible for the animals we love.
